Timberland® Waterproof
Our waterproof footwear incorporates a variety of advanced waterproofing materials, treatments and processes. We start with waterproof leathers that are sealed as part of the tanning process; we then either seam-seal the footwear or use an internal waterproof breathable membrane to help feet stay dry. Tongues and zippers treated with durable water resistant coatings utilize integrated gussets, to further deter water entry. -

Our footwear is treated with a special water-based blended formula to repel certain water-based spills and stains so your favorite shoes can last as long as you love them. -

Billions of bottles across the globe are collected, recycled and turned into RPET yarns that we then use to make products, helping reduce waste and support jobs, too. Apparel products with ReBOTL™ material contain at least 40% recycled plastic -
GreenStride™
GreenStride™ technology provides one of the most eco-conscious and comfortable experiences that we have ever invented. Comfort in most shoes is delivered through a soft foam material called EVA which is typically made from petroleum-based ingredients. As we lessen our footprint and increase our use of renewable materials, we have replaced 75% of the petroleum with ingredients grown in nature, like sugar cane and rubber sourced from sustainably managed forests. The addition of natural rubber helps provide rebound and overall comfort. -
Regenerative Rubber
We have replaced a percentage of petroleum-based rubber typically found in footwear with rubber sourced from farms committed to regenerative agriculture. Regenerative rubber farming can help land to absorb carbon, retain water, and restore biodiversity. It also incorporates a variety of plants, which can generate additional income streams to benefit both farmers and their communities. -
